I’m Sitting In Your Pew is a powerful workshop designed for Ministers and Church leaders. They will be educated on the dynamics of domestic violence, its forms, cycles, statistics and how to recognize the signs of a battered woman. Participants will study how children react to abuse, real case studies and video clips of women who are in the church and battered: physically, emotionally and sexually. This powerful workshop also explores the legal system, the role of the church and ways the church can be supportive to victimized women and contribute to prevention initiatives.
